The Zion International Film Festival is a celebration of independent film with stories of redemption, beauty, hope, creativity, and the human experience.

We want films presented at ZIFF to explore an authentic portrayal of the world. A world in which we all exist as complex characters, simultaneously capable of both acts of love and acts of evil. We want films presented at ZIFF to explore all facets within this world; faith versus doubt, light in darkness, courage with fear, hope and sacrifice.

Films from all genres: fantasy, comedy, sci-fi, animated, horror, family friendly, etc. Think Don't Look Up, Lady Bird, Gran Torino, A Quiet Place, The Matrix, Silence, Dead Man Walking, Gravity, Shadow of a Doubt, Hell or High Water, Les Misérables, The Lord of the Rings, Walk the Line, and Groundhog Day.

“If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.” - C.S. Lewis

This year’s festival will be a hybrid event, with virtual and in-person screenings and workshops.

ZIFF is directed by a Christian and veteran film festival director and programmer whose work has garnered praise from MovieMaker and Filmmaker Magazine.
