Documentary Jury
Ryan Steven Green is a documentary filmmaker from Los Angeles known for uncovering forgotten regional history and niche cultural practices. With topics ranging from the teeming underground of vintage VW gearheads (Circle the Wagen) to “the world’s smallest professional basketball team” (The Hollywood Shorties), his films have garnered numerous festival awards, a world premiere at SXSW, a Netflix streaming premiere, and significant media coverage. Among his current projects is an ongoing Oral History funded by Ford Foundation detailing the history of the Little People of America organization. He lives in Highland Park with his wife and three children.

An award-winning filmmaker, Theodore “Teddy” Grouya is the Director of the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (AmDocs), as well as the Architecture Design Art Film Festival (ADAFF).
While at UCLA, Teddy worked on several Hollywood films. Soon after he directed live television. Later, Teddy received an M.A. from the Australian National University in International Relations and then worked in international programs for the U.S. State Department. Today, Teddy is in pre-production on several film and television programs.
Additionally, Teddy continues to work as an editorial and production consultant on films in development as well as in the rough cut stages - recent films include The Bill Murray Experience and Planet Of The Humans (executive produced by Michael Moore).

Ryann Heim is the Director of Programming for the Windrider Institute. Throughout her five years on the Windrider team, Ryann has utilized her skills and passions to highlight the intersection of faith & film. Whether she is curating the Windrider Studios film library or shaping the Windrider Summit event at Sundance, Ryann creates space for meaningful conversations to take place among students and filmmakers. Ryann believes the Spirit of God uses film to evoke empathy, conviction, discovery and profound love, and she is passionate about sharing this truth with others. Ryann grew up in Dallas, Texas, and went on to study Film at Harding University, where she had the opportunity to attend the Windrider Summit & The Sundance Film Festival in 2020. She now lives in Boise, Idaho, where she enjoys her career, church community and dog Weezer.

Brenden Hubbard, also known as BEAR, is a multifaceted talent acclaimed for his work as a filmmaker, writer, and producer. With a career spanning over a decade, Hubbard has played integral roles in managing productions and orchestrating successful festival runs for numerous films since 2012.
Among his notable projects is his collaboration with Fuzzy Logic on the acclaimed short film "Curfew" and its subsequent feature adaptation, "Before I Disappear" (IFC Films), which garnered widespread recognition. Over the years, Hubbard has lent his expertise to over 100 other short and feature films, including the critically acclaimed "Oh Lucy!", which clinched the prestigious Jury Award: International Fiction at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015. Additionally, his contributions extend to noteworthy selections such as "Cul-De-Sac" at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Icelandic festival darling "Everything in the End".
Hubbard's journey into the world of storytelling and production was influenced by his educational background in audio engineering at Temple University. His creative endeavors have not been limited to the realm of film, as he has also been touring internationally with renowned artists such as Paul Anka, Shakey Graves and Dr. Dog.
Hubbard made his directing debut with the compelling project "The Helping Hand", which has since been released on “Dust.” He’s currently finishing post production on his latest film “Hide” starring Alejandro Rose-Garcia.
In addition to his accomplishments in film and music, Hubbard has also ventured into the realm of pod-casting, producing scripted fiction and unscripted podcasts for Criminal Content. Notable among these projects are "American Hostage", starring Jon Hamm, and "The Foxes of Hydesville", starring Carey Mulligan and McKenna Grace. “American Hostage” has since been optioned and greenlit by MGM

ANNETTA MARION is a Primetime Emmy Award-winning, Hollywood Creative Alliance ASTRA Award-winning, Oscar short-listed, Peabody Award and BAFTA-nominated filmmaker, showrunner, and director. She has worked with some of the biggest stars on major shows for Netflix, Amazon, ESPN, OWN, MTV, VH1, Apple+, and Investigation Discovery, including the acclaimed Oprah’s Master Class.
Annetta produced and second-unit directed Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The film won a HOPE Filmmaker Award at SXSW, five Critics Choice Awards, and four Primetime Emmys, scoring both BAFTA and Peabody nominations.
She currently serves as an alternate on the National Board of the Directors Guild of America and on the Eastern Directors Council. Annetta is a sought-after speaker and panelist at Film Festivals, Organizations, Non-profits, and Guilds.
